1900’s Edwardian British Draughts (Checkers) Set with Board

Description

Nice early example of a quality antique British Draughts Set.  The heavyweight Game board measures 13.5 inches square and is in great condition for its age.  The matching box for the playing pieces is also in good order, with all corners intact.  Contains a complete set of 30 large wooden pieces (15 White and 15 Black).  I have also included 2 copies of the rules, downloaded from the web.

There is no manufacturer indicated on the set, which was common for early British games.  The Set is estimated to date from the Edwardian period c.1900-1910.
