Description
A nice complete example of a late Victorian Parlour Game / Amusement, made in the U.S. by Parker Brothers, Salem, Mass. This rare antique game has a full set of 60 cards and the original rules as shown. The box has had some ‘hidden’ (internal) repairs using card (no dreaded sellotape!). The front edge of the box lid is missing. The superb chromolithograph box label is still intact. The game was published in 1899. Please note… There has been a modern reproduction of this game by “Retro Range”, rest assured that the item offered here is a genuine original antique item and not a copy.
