1890’s Tiddledy Winks by J. Jaques & Son, London

Description

Lovely 1st edition of Tiddledy Winks game, dating from the 1890’s and manufactured by the renowned J. Jaques & Son of London, England.  Tiddledy Winks was the original name for this game, which later became known as Tiddlywinks (with various spellings).  Invented in 1888, the game first became popular in the late Victorian period.

The game consists of a turned Wooden Cup and lots of Bone counters as shown.  The Box is in excellent condition for age, with all corners intact.
