Description
“Double Score every time you make her Lose her head”
“Skilful fun for players of all ages”
A very rare antique Target game, estimated to date from the late Victorian period c. 1890’s. As with many early British games, the maker is not indicated. It seems to be an adaptation of the Traditional English Aunt Sally Pub / Fairground Game. Appears to be complete, with the original Shooter device and six Bone Counters. At the top of the box label it states “Registered: Entered at Stationers’ Hall”. The game instructions are printed on the underside of the box lid. This scarce game is in remakable condition for its age and is the only one I’ve ever seen. I was unable to find another example online. The box measures 14 x 7.5 x 1 inches.
