Description
Here we have a very early Ring Quoits game, estimated to date from the late Victorian period c. 1890’s. Remarkably, the game is still contained in its original box! The box bears a superb label with an illustration of the game being played. There is no indication of the manufacturer, which is typical for the period, but the label does indicate ‘British Manufacture’. The board is showing signs of its long life but all the hooks are still firmly in place. There are five rings with the game, one of which has a split. A very rare and early example of this classic British Parlour Game.
