Description
Lovely example of an antique Victorian Snap Card game, contained in its original 2-piece box. The Game was made in England by Thos. De La Rue & Co. Ltd. 110 Bunhill Row, London (factory destroyed in 1940, during the Blitz).
This antique game, dating from 1900, contains a full deck of 52 cards, with four of each of the 13 Nursery Rhyme characters. The cards are in good played condition as shown. Box has usual edge splits commensurate with age. A very scarce game and especially rare to find an example with a full set of cards in its original box.
