Site Navigation
The entire collection is available to view from the Home (Vintage Games) page. Similar games are also grouped into Categories: Board games, Card games, Parlour games, Action games, Dice, Dominoes & Gambling, Puzzles, Magic & Illusions and Arts & Crafts. A pop-up sub-menu for these categories appears under the ‘Vintage Games‘ option. If you have a particular title in mind, you can also enter keywords into the ‘Search products…‘ box, at the top-right of each page, to find matching items across all categories.
Each product page includes a Sort function. The default setting arranges Items into alpha-numeric order. As all titles start with the year of publication, games are initially sorted into chronological order, with the earliest first. If you’re a return visitor, wishing to view ‘new’ stock, select ‘latest’ from the sort function to display the most recently uploaded listings first.
Tags
These are keywords which identify specific game attributes. They can help you find other games with matching characteristics. Tags are located within each individual listing. Clicking on a tag link opens up a new page, displaying all the items which include the same tag. For example, if a particular game dates from the 1920’s, by clicking on the 1920’s tag, all games from that decade will be displayed. Similarly, if a game was manufactured by Spears, clicking on this tag will reveal all of their other games in the collection.
The Listings
Games are individually listed and all the photos are of the actual item for sale. They are all original period pieces, I do not sell inferior modern reproductions. Please get in touch if you require further clarification and I’ll do my best to help (contact details below). The year of manufacture is based on the best information available at the time of listing. If the year is not specified on the item and is not readily available online, I have estimated the decade based on product design and personal experience. There is no intention to deceive and I am happy to amend product details if you have additional information about any of these rare games. Where appropriate, I have included links within the description of the listings to provide background information relating to the game. These links are indicated by a different text colour in the description and will open in a separate tab of your browser. PLEASE NOTE: These vintage and antique Games do NOT necessarily comply with current safety regulations. They are sold to collectors on this basis.
Secure Payment Options
Shipping
I have set a single, flat-rate charge for shipping of each order, irrespective of the number of items purchased. The price is calculated according to your requested delivery address and is based on the estimated cost for sending a typical item to that destination. In effect, for multiple purchases in a single order, you will only pay for shipping of the first item. Online tracking will be provided for all shipments. Domestic delivery to the U.K. mainland and Northern Ireland addresses will be booked through Evri. International shipments, to destinations outside the U.K., will be arranged via the Parcel2GO website. NOTE… If your location is not currently shown as a valid shipping destination, please get in touch (contact details below), and I’ll investigate options for you.
Items will be insured up to their full purchase value for protection against loss or damage incurred during transit. Photographic evidence of any damage will be required in order to raise a claim with the shipping agent.
If you are purchasing from outside the U.K., PLEASE PROVIDE A CONTACT PHONE NUMBER, as this information is required by the courier before I am able to print off a shipping label. I will not retain or share your details beyond this requirement to fulfil your order.
Customers from outside the U.K. are responsible for any Customs charges / Import duties and/or local taxes where applicable. These payments are levied by authorities at the destination country. Please consider the potential for additional charges at the point of purchase. In the unlikely event of items being returned to the U.K. for non-payment of these charges, any associated fees incurred will be funded with revenue from the sale of the item.
IMPORTANT Please make sure your delivery address is correct at checkout, as non-refundable postal labels will be paid for, and the item dispatched soon after payment has been received.
Returns
If you change your mind, I am happy to accept returns within 14 days of receipt, providing items are returned complete and in their original condition. Please let me know of your intentions before returning any items (contact details below). Packages returned from outside the U.K. are to be clearly marked “RETURNED GOODS” to avoid additional customs charges. Once your returned item has been received, I will refund the original cost of the item (less postage). Unfortunately I am unable to refund any postage charges in these circumstances.
